Default Turn over engine without starting

My G8 hasn't been started in a while. I want to turn it over to get the oil flowing before I start it. What fuses needs to be pulled? Just the fuel pump?

Ignition too I think, whatever fuse powers the coils. Or disconnect coils.

The ignition relay is R14 under the hood. Th fuel pump relay is R12 in the instrument panel fuse block. Going outside to check.

Not enough juice in the battery to turn it over.

Don't you keep the tender hooked up?

I had to rotate it between the Silverado, lawn tractor and G8. When the G8 would only last 4 days without the Ctek hooked up, I called the Service manager at Skillman's in Greenwood. He said he would warranty the battery for me. So I left it unhooked.

The issue is that these engines usually cannot be turned by the starter fast enough to prime the oil pump and pressurize everything. Your best bet will be to just start the engine. As long as your oil pump is operating properly then you will hit full oil pressure in about 1-2 seconds.

I'll give it some more time. Battery isn't capable to turning the starter yet.

When the battery is charged - pull the plugs and spin the shit out of it!
