Yes O great Doctor. As it turns out the 09.5 G8s had both. As I said very easy fix, other than GM won't sell the damn part. Anyway for that price, I will use the potential dollars to GM on other mods. Funny freaking way to do business in my book. But, then again I am not a MBA from Harvard. Would be interested to know, just what is GMs logic/reasoning for the decision not to sell the module, even for a laugh.

You guys seem to forget that for 09.5 GM changed nearly every module and calibration in the cabin as well, there is a reason retrofit programming is necessary LOL It's not a simple fix as far as GM is concerned.

It is if we are willing to pay for the retro. programming, the labor and the module. So what else is their excuse?

Simple, liability. GM doesn't want anything to do with this, especially on a dead platform/brand. This stems FAR past the G8 well into every segment that wants bluetooth and with far more people than the G8 community. GM doesn't want the liability or hassle of managing it and honestly OnStar modules have ALWAYS been this way, its not unique to our situation

I mean don't get me wrong I wish it wasn't the case I'd probably do a hell of a lot more of them but I do understand why and the technical ramifications of what you guys want VS whats really manageable.

Chris, did 20827036 supersede the previous part numbers? I got this number off a Cadillac forum and there seem to be more available on eBay.

    Thanks.....
