The 2008 G8's didn't have bluetooth so I don't see why you're so negative towards GM cars.

Mine is a 2009 and was told to me by the dealership it had it installed. After finding out it did not. The dealership did nothing to make things right. It was escalated to GM and after a few months of phone calls they closed the case. They said it was a case of he said she said even though I had a letter from the dealership that said it was there mistake telling me it had this option. Don't get me wrong, I love my car and have had Pontiac's and Oldsmobile's all my live, but GM still has customer focus issues. I called On-Star about the new smart phone Apps a few months ago but the 2009 vehicles does not support these features. I hope someday they will allow folks in the future to buy these options.

Mooredata, same situation with me. Was told by Dealer that it had the Bluetooth. A friend with an 08 GT was told it had XM radio, it didn't. The problem was that the salespeople did not know their product. Or they knew, and they lied. Both are relatively easy fixes. At least make the parts and installation available at cost to the customer. That lack of logic and taking care of the customer is the BS. But alas, these are the same discussions each time this issue comes up. And we all vent and feel better and watch the butterflies, birds, puppies and flowers. Thereby forgetting our desire to get into someone from GMs face. Gee, I feel better, how about you?

^ A wise man who knoweth, But in this case the 2009 G8 was advertised to have "New" for 2009 both XM and Bluetooth. It just depends on "when" in 2009 the particular 2009 was built.

Ahhh I didn't know some 09 G8's had bluetooth and some didn't. I can see how some people were duped into thinking their car did.
