I needed a car that gets better mileage, so this is what I bought.
I like your G8 better....
I understand though, because now they're saying that gas could get up to $5/ gallon by the end of 2012. I sure hope that isn't true, because then I'd probably have to go out and buy me a DD that was better on gas. $5/gallon would put me around $300/month in gas. Ouch.

How do you like it so far? I sat in one at the ford dealer when getting the stang and they seemed decent for the price and excellent mileage.

Its kinda cute. what is it?
Look at all the wheel gap, it needs bigger wheels & tires. I'm not feeling the girlie design on the seats either.
should have gotten the green LOL. I was looking at that car for the kid and was worried about it in the snow

Looks pretty good for an inexpensive car. Won't it drive you nuts to take 10-15 seconds to get to highway speeds?
2009 G8 GT::Panther Black
It's a 2011 Ford Fiesta SE Hatchback. I looked for one with a 5 speed manual instead of the new power shift 6 speed auto.
I wanted SYNC and cruise control. So I had to find one with rapid spec 203A.
There were not a lot of 5 speeds with Sync, so color choice was out for me. That included the seat colors. Since for the most part I'm the only one that's going to be in it, it doesn't bother me.
I so far have only driven it in town, a total of 4 miles, so no real review yet. The clutch pedal is soft as butter, and the electric assist steering makes turning at a stop way too easy.
I wanted a Ford for simply because when I spend time in the engine plant, I want to be able to park close. It's a long walk if you are driving something else, not to mention how big the plants are.
James, I spend 5 to 6 hours behind the wheel, the 10 seconds it takes to get on the interstate won't be an issue.
I still own a faster car, and a truck with a v-8.
Don, a Ford dealer in Wisconsin sells a Ford lowering kit that comes with springs and shocks/struts that will lower the car. $220 plus shipping. Karen is against that idea right now. She said save my money and put it into the red car. Smart woman.
looks nice. I thought you were getting the auto
