that why i use rain x...so i dont need the wipers that much

I found Rain-X would bead the water nicely however when it came time to wipe it away it would just make it spred everywhere then bead back up. I applied it twice at two different times of the year and had the same issue.

I use the ANCO frame less blades on my Saturn, F-150 and my G/F's Saturn SC1 and they work GREAT!

Take a bit of ammonia (window cleaner) to a rag and clean the blades every so often plus a bit of soft scrub on a wet towel or sponge will get contaminants off the wind screen too. My wipers on my Vue are almost 2 years old and work great. In the Southern states everything goes bad quicker than up North though.

My G6 had the same style wipers and they would do the same thing as the G8 wipers which is leave curved lines across the wiping surface, all I do is take a paper towl and wipe the entire length of the blade once ot twice every time I fill the car up and they work perfect.

Mine actually has two splits in it, two little rips I guess. I noticed it probably during the first rain, could have been there when i bought it, who knows? I just wish I didn't have to go back to the dealer to get another one.

For what it's worth, Consumers tested wipers, and the Rain-X wipers were
the longest-lasting, but all wipers went bad by about 6 months, so they are
a consumable alright...

I change my wiper blades once a year on all my vehicles.
