So other than the ridges, what are the improvements to the car? Dip anyone?

Grip better on the pulleys, and I think they last longer. But not too sure on that one.
The whine if any is the air getting caught between the ridges and the pulleys. Thats why roots style blowers whine so much, i've had several, can't hardly beat that sound. Thought about doing it to the G8.
Kim. I like Sterzings chips.

Not the fastest but close enough for Rock and Roll.
So if you were to go with this belt, should you go ahead and upgrade the pulleys at the same time?

I've heard with the LY7 that the tensioner pulley can have problems with excessive wobble over time, I checked mine and didn't really feel anything out of the ordinary. But then again, I only have about 6700 miles on mine. So I could face this down the road. Apparently there is a plastic spacer between the pulley and the bolt holding it on that can become warped after awhile. I would pull the belt off and test for range of movement. If it moves around on the bolt, I would replace it. And if you do take the belt off to test it, I would advise some strength training first. Moving that tensioner pulley up to get the belt off is some tough work.

Thanks. Maybe there is an upgraded aftermarket available.

Anybody know the Gatorback belt part number that fits the 2009.5 GT?

* Sorry guys - didn't realize this was the LY7 engine sub-section. But if anybody does know the #, any help greatly appreciated!

I had them change it when I bought my car as it was chirping to the gatorback as OEM one's came glazed which made it slip. I've had it on over a year now with no problems
cat put a new mod on your list:
