Look at the 3rd,4th & 5th pics at the top of this thread.
The red rectangles are 3M tape which sticks to the flat horizontal surface above your rear licence plate.
The rectangular holes in the chrome strip are for your license plate lamps to shine thru.
You can look at your car above the license plate and see the holes for the yellow clips.......there's one central and one each side maybe an inch outboard of each license plate lamp.
The holes will currently have a plug or bung in them to blank them off.

Hey Paul, could you get me a close up pick of what it looks like when the trunk is open. Specifically the underside of the trim. Reason is for my current led strip that I'm running I need to see if there's enough room, and if it would look good on the underside of the trim. I'm currently using two led strips in place of the stock license plate bulbs. Thanks for your help Paul.

I'm installing today and will take before / after pics of the install. Now I just need to figure out how to remove those plugs in the trunk without destroying the area in the process. Hmmmmmm...

Thanks I greatly appreciate that. When I put my led plate lights on I ran the wiring through them. I push the tabs out from the inside of the trunk lid. It's not to hard to do, but you do have to remove the trunk lid liner.

    Hey Paul

I just attached the chrome trunk trim. It snapped right in with no problem. I blacked mine out with Plasti-dip and added a red stripe to match what I did to the front grills. Thanks again.
