I've pulled out the EVAP system and capped the vacuum line on the side of the throttle body already.

My PCV system runs from the right side rear of head (when standing in front of car, looking into engine bay) and crosses over to the left side of throttle body. I believe this is as per factory. However, the other dirty air line (left side of engine, just under fuel rail) has an open-ended tube and is not connected to anything. Do I just cap this off? See red circle in attachment, cheers
That line can be run to the air intake before the TB.

Your red circled item is the Fresh Air In nipple.
Plumb as per the green line below.

Does anyone have any knowledge on this open port, since we are on the subject of running lines. Driver side next to incoming fuel line, on the firewall. 20140408_200248.jpg

That line should go to the bottom of the plastic plug that's bolted to the pass side head.

Now we're talking about the EVAP system plumbing.

Gas tank fumes come out of the nipple you've shown on the firewall.

The fumes enter the Evap tubing at E and travel to F on the Evap Emissions Solenoid Valve.

Evap Emissions Solenoid Valve mounted to the front of the right hand cylinder head

When the Evap Solenoid is commanded open then the gas tank fumes exit the valve and travel from G to H to be consumed by the engine.

Thanks, looks like they must have eliminated it when they installed the cam and tuned it. The Evap Solenoid is gone I wonder why.

Well, Rednecks would remove anything they don't understand.
Who else would leave a line (for gas fumes) running back towards the fuel tank, uncapped in the engine bay.

I have that piece, since mine was changed by TechFX a couple years ago. I'm leaving for FL today, but can get it to you when I return from vacation. I have the lines, not the evap solenoid.
The evap solenoid you can get from Greg @ Pace.

So.. lol, i placed the catch can in from left rear valve cover, out into the port in the intake. isn't that the same line you just put the can in the middle of? int he pics the white dots are just on the front of engine. and the out i think was yellow. i had a breather in the top of can. could that be why all the moisture came from? why it looks like water in the can and tube? should i plug the top of can and remove the breather? thanks.
