Changed mine, took all of 15 minutes. I got a store brand filter from the local auto parts store, 22 bucks. Napa was 79. Rock Auto online for the wix with some enviroshield coating was 39 plus shipping. At 22 bucks, I will change them every 6 months if need be

There's nothing special to them, they are not carbon charged, so best price wins IMO.

Thanks! Yeah I just found it on Pace and was surprised that it was that much. Pace has $9 shipping to me where as Was Slow is $10, but then that might be on par with what the dealer is charging. I think I'll call around tomorrow to see if anyone has one in stock. I mean if they had a ECU for a G8, why wouldn't they have a pollen filter right?

Oh I took a shop vac to it!! Upon further inspection, I found that the filer was also placed backwards but I'm not sure how much of a difference that makes.
