I haven't actually installed one but I am pretty sure you have to pull the fascia to do the install.

does this work with people with a tvs since they have a heat exchanger in that spot?

It would work if you get the spacers from Magnacharger for the GXP. You can see them in the install .PDF for the GXP on their site.
