National G8 Meet Convoy

Here is the initial post to try to coordinate a "convoy" to the National Meet. Need to try to agree on !.) Route, 2.) Days/Times/Dates, 3.) Meeting Points. I will be departing from Mandeville, LA. Apprx 13-14 hour trip. Need to find out if anyone is going straight through or stopping along the way. And where would be a good spot to stop overnight. Just some ideas and thoughts, please post yours here. Thanks, Chris

Panzer I am coming from Lafayette. What route do you want to take. It is about 2hrs from my house to Mandeville.

I-55 at I-12 at Hammond then straight north on I-55. I am open on departure day. Looking at making it a two day trip arriving NLT Wednesday afternoon. But like I said I am open. Need to wire in as many people along the route. Est. meeting cities and locations. Best would be on the northside of the towns and right on/off the interstate. I will check the Google map again.

Additional info per Google Map. SUGGESTED POSSIBLE MEETING CITIES ALONG ROUTE: Hammond, LA; Brookhaven, MS; Jackson, MS; Grenda, MS; Memphis, TN; Sikeston, MO; St. Louis, Mo; Springfield, ILL; Peroria, ILL. Trying to locate around areas where different Interstate highways meet. According to Google it is 919 miles from Mandeville, LA to Davenport, IA or 14 hrs, 56 minutes.
