    Default First pass finally (1/8)

Greer Dragway just opened for the season today. I finally got my first pass under my belt. 8.90 @ 81MPH was my best (and first) run. TC on, sport mode. The tranny shifted properly on that run. Every run after that, I started nosing over (rev limiter?) on my 2 to 3 upshift, and once also on my 1-2 upshift. That relegated me back to 8.99 - 9.12. I will have HPTuners in my possession soon, so hopefully I can remedy that little situation.

It was very odd. When I started watching the RPMs, It was hitting the rev limiter at what looked like about 5700RPM before shifting??? Has anyone else experienced this?

TC off was killing my 60ft due to slight wheel spin(flaring in 2-3 upshift still present). I didn't think to give normal mode a shot to see if it helped the 2-3 upshift, and had to leave earlier than I wanted. My 4yr old daughter got nipped by a dog on the leg and my wife took her to the hospital, so obviously I had to jet. They are open again next saturday for a second test and tune session but I don't think I will be able to make it. It looks like I am going ot be taking the family to a camaro GTG in Charleston. When I leave out for work tonight I will give normal a good full throttle pass from a dig and see if it still does it.

Thats probably going to convert into a 13.60 or 13.70. Thats about what my car was running in the 1/8 when I was running just a CAI. Now I'm running 8.60's and 13.20's still spinning the tires really bad. Hope you get some 1/4 mile times in while the weather is cool.

Yeah, I'm hoping to get a chance to squeeze down to Atlanta (Commerce) before it warms up. It was actually a good bit warmer than I thought it would be this past saturday. We have had very cold weather for the past month or so around here, and saturday we got welcomed with a gorgeous 60 degree day. DA still wasn't bad though ...worked out to be around ~1000ft.

Pretend that you don't have traction control.

Turn that off. Practice launching the car. TC will turn on during gear changes if it detects wheel spin.
