Do yourself a favor, use a dremel or something. I still can't imagine how George did that with a knife....

So with the HSRK, I assume this really only has effects in warmer temps/lots of passes down a track? Under normal driving conditions: IE: cooler weather on the highway, it doesn't really help much, no?

By the sensor reacting at a much faster rate, the ecm does not pull timing as much. Tuesday it will be 59 degrees and I will bet that I can pull low 50s on IATs at 100mph and I know it wont do that with an insolated MAF.

I used a grape/linoleum knife. Couple stokes to score it then cuts through like butter if sharpened properly. I use those knifes every day though so they are like an extension of my hand.

The sensor should be mounted as close to the filter or in filter neck on most air intake systems. Approx. time .5 hrs. Necessary tools: Cordless Drill and stepper drill bit. A grommet is required for install unless mounting in filter neck. GM Part # 24504388.

Awsome tutorial. Definitely gonna use this but one quick question. Were exactly is the MAF and how do you connect this to it?

That piece with the arrow is the MAF. You unplug the MAF, then plug the harness in between it.
