    Default Tire Opinion's

What do you think of these baby's

Got great reviews but then again, I know nothing about tires so I figured I'd ask for professional input. Yes, I only plan to use these in the summer.

Is it really? Apparently they are the best summer tires on the whole site.

Just checked. Model on the tires that comes stock are RE 050A. This is the RE 01R. Not completely sure what the difference is though.

I like the Potenzas. I've got almost 10,000 miles on mine and 1 rotation so far and they have held up pretty well to all my abuses. Minimal road noise and good handling. I did notice last night that they don't like cold asphalt....The car would break loose on corners with TC on and not really gassing it hard. But Kumho all-seasons and stock wheels go on next weekend once the DR and rims get here anyways.

    I can't find anything with a 9.6" width. Closest I can find it 9.5.

I just put the 255-45-18 Kuhmo asx on mine.
    http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Spec.j...1=yes&place=30
I knew the goodyear wan't going to get around very well this winter so I went with a little bigger tire also. It has a 420 wear rating which is very good compared to he goodyear rsa which if I remember only had about a 240 or 280 wear rating. These have a AA traction rating also and an A rating on heat, plus a very good looking tread design. I didn't buy mine at tirerack, I'm a Big O Tire Asst Manager so I got a good deal thru my dealership. If you live in bad weather area, snow, etc. I wouldn't use the Kuhmo spt, its too much of a summer driving tire.
