Since I will be driving my G8 this winter in the buffalo area and because the rear lower quarter panel is getting rock damage, I decided to get the splash guards.
They were pretty easy to install but you do have to jack up the front to drill holes for the front ones, and the rear wheels have to be removed in order to drill two holes for each rear. All the holes were 8mm (5/16").
My opinion: They came out OK. I think they would be much nicer if they were painted, but the soft almost rubber-like plastic would take special paint i don't have.
I think the rear ones looked tacked on and could have been made to a better fit and finish.
