Default Proper Lug Nut Torque for G8 GT 2009

I am wondering what the proper torque on the lug nuts is suppose to be for my G8 GT?
Discount Tire says it is 140 ft. Pounds.
Seeems really high to me when on my Colorado and Suburban are 100 ft. pounds.

    Need help.

I told them it should be that and they said they could not do that. They had to put what they get from the manufacture.

My dealer torqued to 125 ft-lbs per spec when I had my tires rotated.

I fourth that motion - 125 it is. Says so in the manual and I've torqued mine many times (snow/summer) to that amount.

The service manual is not 100% accurate...but in this case it is correct. 125 for the stock wheels. This value varies if using aftermarket wheels/lug nuts.
Yes for us larger guys that screw can be a pain!

I don't see how the torque would be different with aftermarket wheels/lug nuts since they are the same size as stock.

I had the same issue. Discount told me 140ft lbs and I read in the manual that it was 125. I just took the wheel off and had them fix that. I reinstalled myself. I don't know how big of an issue it is, other than me breaking an arm to get it back off.
