Exclamation Snapped Fitting on Intake! (HELP)

Well I was doing my cam swap and I was prying on a bolt with my free hand on the engine for leverage when, snap.

The below pucture is looking down on the drivers side where the intake manifold and TB meet. As you can see I snapped the fitting right off the intake manifold.

the manifold with the fitting snapped off.

the hose with the piece coming out of the intake manifold still in it

    where the hose comes from.

So how bad did I fuck up. Super glue? epoxy? new intake manifold?

It looks like that's the EVAP purge connection. I have no experience doing so, but maybe you'd be able to glue it back on somehow. If it were me I'd probably replace the manifold. The part number for a new manifold is 12602477 if you decide to go that route.

You can get a replacement hose, did you get the other peice out. Since it just a vent hose, I bet you could get by gluing it for now.

Worst case, I bet you could tap it and place a brass nipple in its place and run a rubber hose in its place.

I'd try that first and see how secure the fitting feels. It's not a high pressure fitting, if anything it's under a vacuum.

I broke mine when we were doing my Maggie install. It breaks very easy and I broke it even after Daniel told me to be careful cause they break easy

Greg at Pace can sell you the replacement part. It's not expensive.
