    just wondering what all dragstrips there are in texas, its a big state so that has to be quite a few of them. im asking because im having trouble finding one close to college station because im going to be there the 30th and 31st for some road racing around texas world speedway and was thinking about what to do the friday night(29th) before i do some round track racing. some websites listed temple but i am thinking its closed (1 the website didnt work, 2 the phone number didnt work). having a list with websites wouldnt be bad.

    Texas motorplex probably not much help since they r both just outside of Dallas

    Theres a real small one in temple. maybe 45 minutes north of austin towards killeen/ Fort hood

    I also was looking for something last weekend. Nothing was T-n-T for some reason (within reason for LJ). A list would be good!
    Yes for us larger guys that screw can be a pain!

    08 G8 GT, IOM, Rotofab, HSRK, Kooks LTs, track pipes, Custom engine covers, catch can, radiator cover, and tranny tunnel brace. 402hp/396tq - not bad for a bolt -on car.
    8.43 1/8th; 2.01 60' - no skillz.

    ROADRACING? DID YOU SAY ROADRACING???? AT TWS? Who is sponsoring it? Would love to attend. This is my favorite long track on the shifterkart! Running the full 2.9 mile? Clockwise or CC? Quando dinero?

    its TWS's own performance driving school that they have once a month, not sure what configuration they are running this time. info is on the main page of http://www.texasworldspeedway.com/ there should still be spots left, only 88 people signed up so far, they have 5 different run groups depending on experience. Il start a list for drag strips at the top of the page and whether its 1/4 or 1/8

    I'm pretty sure there is an 1/8 mile in navasota.
