In my 2002 VW Golf GTi 1.8T AWP engine
Cooling system malfunction. I have a VW service manual but cant find anything specific to this code.

Autozone print out states to check coolant level-- GOOD

Check CTS and circuit. Bought new Coolant Temp Sensor - MIL light is still on.

Where is the circuit that I should check?

I also read in my manual that my T-stat may be bad. I'll replace that later...

If you had a recent temp drop there, odds are the t-stat needs to be replaced with the updated version VW offers. There is a updated CTS as well.

I bought a new CTS from Autozone. I'll try the T- Stat
