Default Red 2008 GT for $12,900? Good deal?

Might be adding another G8 to the house hold. Need your guys opinions on if this is a good deal or not. 2008 GT with 124,000 miles on the clock. Has the two tone leather red seats which are actually still in good shape. Normal rock chips all over the front but that is to be expected. Steering wheel is pretty worn and missing the center console window/mirror adjustor switches. No sun roof on stock 18 inch wheels.

I'm not really keen on the mileage but we are told that we will get a 5 year/100,000 warranty plus a lifetime labor guarantee. Just bring in the parts and they will fix what needs to be done. I have done my own work on my car so just letting them work on hers is fine with me.

They started out at $17,000 and after everything was said and done on prices, they said they can let it go for 12,900. Should I be concerned by this?
I just don't know, what questions do you think are good for me to ask these knuckle heads. They saw my car so they know not to try to BS me with what the car has or can do. Am I being wrong on not liking cars over 100,000 miles?

Two previous owners which started at Hollywood MD. Did MD get hit by that super storm Sandy a couple years ago? No quick evidence of water damage that I saw.

VIN # is 6G2EC57Y68L144434 if anyone can do a car fax.

Thanks for reading and any suggestions you can give.

That big of a price drop and anyone guaranteeing lifetime ANYTHING, ESPECIALLY a dealer, would scare me away from any deal. The mere idea of someone guaranteeing to do anything for free, forever just doesn't make sense to me and just screams I want to make a sale at all costs because in the real world, no one works for free. If you're fine with them breaking that labor promise then maybe it's still worth looking into. If after thorough inspection of the car by myself and a certified mechanic, Carfax check etc, as long as everything checks out I can't say I wouldn't pick up another G8 for that cheap.

I would buy it. Service the trans and add the Camaro deep sump pan.
Carfax isn't that expensive when you are talking about spending $13k

buy it at that price. There is a lot of room to put money in it and still be under blue book.

Pull an Autocheck...much better than Carfax.

Still, I would be very leery. Or buy it and flip it.
