    Default Need to borrow a set of tail lights

    Like the tread says. I need to borrow a set of tail lights in the Houston area so I can pass my state inspection. Mine are tinted so they wont give it to me. Thanks

    That sucks. I just bought tinted ones. I didn't think Texas cared cause so many ricers have them.

    Or just have to find were the ricers have theres inspected.... your to far away (i live in the RGV ) or i could of told you were to have it inspected with no problems....

    If they're tinted dark enough to barely let any light through... then they have a problem with you up in the DFW area...
    A light - medium tint...and they really dont bother you.

    Case/Point - Buddy had DARK tails on his truck... ALWAYS had issues. (including passing inspection)
    On my truck, I have a light/medium shade...and have only been stopped once. (recently) (b/c apparently I wasnt showing enough "red amber" for him) (new local cop... will pull you over for ANYTHING). That said, never had a problem passing inspection...

    So it really depends on how dark you got them.

    Well mine are lightly tinted. They told me it wouldn't pass before they were going to start. So I told them to not inspect it.
