The L99(if im not mistaken, and i dont think i am)was rumored to be used in the auto G8 GXP, but so far nothing has been confirmed yet. For now everyone is telling us that the LS3 will be used with both trannys.Originally Posted by Mike P

I sent a note to GM asking this...so far 2009 G8 GXP is LS3...not L99 (Camaro)
