    Default Dipstick Question...

    Does the dipstick penetrate the block behind the starter?

    Does the starter have to be removed to reinstall the dipstick tubing?

    Dipstick on the G8 goes directly into the oil pan. You should not have to remove the starter if you have a steady hand and a good eye to see the hole.
