Default Solution to lower door panel scratches

I have read a few treads on possible solutions to the scratches everyone get while entering and exiting the car. Has anyone tried the 5 mil carbon fiber film from PFYC?

You can always try to mask it with shoe polish!

who do you get to install this kind of stuff? I've been trying to find a shop to do a small vinyl and I'm not sure who to search for.

Some tint shops do it. You could check the XPEL site to locate a dealer.
The other option is to pick up some of their DIY products which aren't too hard to install if you aren't covering a large area.

No, the pieces are 48" wide, and a linear foot means one foot long.

2 linear feet of that would be 2 feet long and 48" wide.

has anyone tried this on door panels, and if so were they sanded to get out any of the texture on the existing panel?

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall, torque is how far you take the wall with you.

So nobody has tried this? It seems like a relatively inexpensive mod. I agree with Styker that you have to have some surface prep so it adheres. I might try this. Haven't measured yet but 1 linear foot might might work. If you have any other carbon fiber accent in the interior, this would compliment it.
