Default S FLorida Tuning and Porting

Hey all just wanted to give a heads up that if anyone is interested in getting a tune and or ported intake/throttle body in south Florida, Jeremy will be at Speed and Truck World West in Coral Springs from Sept 4th through the 6th. The address is :
    12500 N.W. 35th St.
    Coral Springs, FL 33065
    Tel: 954-346-1161

Feel free to call us at 813 476 7364 or Jeremy on his cell at 813 495 8778.

The cost of tuning is $400 + 75hr for the dyno. If you are just looking for a street tune he can also do that for $300 w/ WB o2. We work very hard on each and every vehicle until every customer is happy and the vehicle is spot on.

We will have ported LS2/LS7 and L76 Intake manifolds for $300 and the LS2/LS7 throttle bodies for $150 all readily available. When they are done together it is discounted to $400. Installation is free!
The typical gains on the LS2 Intake manifold porting is 11rwhp/13rwtq. Porting the TB is a very nice SOTP difference, You will not see much of a gain on the dyno but your vehicle will be 10x more fun to drive and your throttle response will be greatly increased.
Porting the LS1 TB's is $100 installed. This will also greatly improve your throttle response. This is all on a core exchange basis.

Here is a graph of a 43 RWHP gain on a G8 that got a ported TB and intake with tune. The car already had a CAI and catback on it as well.

Here are some graphs of some Cars that we dynoed, tuned, and swapped the intakes and TBs. Some are direct A-B swaps and show the results. Some are Base runs then a rough tune and then we swap the intake and TB, and then fully optimize the tune.

1st is a Stk 07 LS7 ported and tuned: 1st is base, 2nd is base tune, 3rd is ported and tuned completely.

Here is a bolt-on 07 LS7 (w/ headers CA)I base tune and then ported and tuned.

Here are two C6 LS2's with just cai and cat backs before and after tune and Ported intake and TB:

383 LS6 to ported FAST and nice set of heads:

    408 LS6 to ported FAST:

Obviously the larger motors wanted the larger manifold more than a smaller motor but we have had an LS2 with one of our ported LS2s on it Put a ported FAST on there and pick up 22RWHP and 30RWTQ on a 6L bolt-on 07 vette.

Will Jeremy be bringing some ported L76 intakes and TBs along with him? You only mention LS2/LS7, I think they're different.

Tom, yes he should have at least one available, as we just installed the other one we had for a gentleman with 89 miles on his G8.

Did you get the PM from the other board?

    Thumbs up

It sounds like I need to get a ported L76 intake & TB too! These sound like nice upgrades!

Yes Dan, I did get it. I replied to it also. Basically trying to figure out a way to get over there to get it done. Sept 4 is a Thursday, have to work but could probably get off at about 4. Sept 5 not good but 6th is Saturday so shouldn't be a problem. The place is about 1/2 hour from work, a bit over an hour from home. What hours does Jeremy plan to work on those days? Is going to set up appointments?

I'm having a bunch of other work done, including getting my tune tweaked so would love to have this done before that.

    Dan,

Where is Jeremy's home base? (813) is Sarasota area isn't it???

I'm not back in FL (Naples) until Nov 1. May be interested in ported manifold & TB update when I return.

Have Vector's ECM/TCM tune & HSRK, RotoFab CAI, Magnaflows & H-pipe plus some of Charlie's mods. Will installing ported manifold require a tune update from VMS?

    Thanks,

    Rob

Chris at Vector told me no. He said it shouldn't need to be retuned because it shouldn't skew the fuel tables enough to matter.

I'd like to hear Dan's opinion on this.
