Temp color match for 18U MGM

I have a nice thumb tack sized chip around the arch of my driverside rear wheel opening. Want to get it just touched up until I have the few spots professionally done. Has anyone found a close color match for the 18U Magnetic Grey Metallic/Evoke Grey that I can quickly get just to cover it. Everyone around here is special order or not available and I dont want to spend to have a custom made color bottle, I will ask for that when the car cleaned up by the body shop

The only thing I have seen that may be close is the Camaro color from Gen 5, Gen 6 may be even closer but I have not had a G8 and Gen 5 next to each other in a long time.

I actually found a Ford color of all things very close. Gonna try it on a non visible place. If it is close I will use it, cost all of 8 bucks. Just want to kinda sorta hide the blemish until I get the body work offically done

Its probably the newer model color - it does look close! I was in traffic with a new body Ford Escape this morning and it seems close! Then my back pain returned and I stopped looking

Let us know how the Ford color works out and if so, please provide the part number.

I had a custom batch (small bottle) of 18U made last summer by a local paint shop and it's already dried out! Too expensive to go that route, especially if it's going to dry out so quickly!

First pass is it is few shades lighter, but has the same metalic graining if you will. I need to put on a few more coats to see. It does cover the dime sized spot well, and makes it less obtrusive, but I will get back to you all

Just found a suitable touch-up paint for MGM (Magnetic Gray Metallic or Evoke Gray). Iridium Metallic from a 2018 GMC Yukon is a near dead-ringer for MGM, at least for touching up small rock chips. The code is WA 121V GM #19367759
