    Default Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta Tires

I bought and installed these tires in February. I have now run them long enough to provide a fair review. My overall assessment... absolutely awesome! I purchased them from Performance Tire. They provided excellent service. I have no hesitation in recommending them and I will use them again. I paid $198 per tire when I bought them.

As to the tires, they perform waaay better than the potenza's in every metric. In dry conditions, they have better launch traction (and less w/hop), better lateral cornering grip, and less road noise. In the rain... they get even better. This is the best rain tire I have ever driven on.

The tire has a very aggressive tread design. It is symmetrical but not directional so it looks sorta odd in an exotic way. Some may not like the look. I happen to like it. They have a wide rim protector that extends just past the rim on my stock 19" wheels. I had them mounted and road force balanced. The measurements for the four wheels was 1 lb, two at 3 lbs and one at 8 lbs. I questioned the 8 lb tire and the tech told me any tire in single digits was outstanding. He said he had never had a set of off the shelf street tires this good.

    Overall, an outstanding tire.

How are these tires holding up with mileage? I almost bought a set for my Mach 1.

I recently bought my 09 GT and the Potenzas are going to be replaced at some point in the future.

Good deal, the rears need replacing, the fronts are still good.
I most likely will pull the trigger in these.

Thanks for the info. I just researched these further and they sound awesome. I'm seriously going to consider these over Michelin Pilot SS's. And the kicker is Performance Tire is located in Cali which is very close to me. Free shipping!

I have these on mine in a staggered setup. I have gotten about 30,000 out of the rears. The fronts could probably go another 10-15K. They are great in the rain, even now they are still good. I will say they suck in a light snow, but actually did pretty well in about 6-8 inches of slush. They are SUMMER ONLY. I just wish they made a 285/35/19

What set up do you have and the difference from front to rear?
