Default Anyone live around the Fort Bragg area?

Well I'm moving to NC in a couple of months and just wondering if anyone lives around the Fort Bragg area. We are trying to find out what's a good town to move too by the base. Also is their any good performance shops and tracks in this area? Thanks

Welcome to the area, I work on Bragg. If you look South of Bragg in the Grey's Creek area between hwy 87 and I-95 there are nice housing areas with good schools. Fayetteville dragstrip is only 8min from this area. It is in Cumberland County just outside of Hope Mills.
I do a good bit of work on LS motors and G8's as well as custom tuning.

We have seen some pretty nice house in Raleigh, but I think someone my wife works with says they have a house in Sanford we can get. From what I read it sound like this is a pretty nice area too. Is that true?

Sanford is nice. still has that small town feel. If you like golf, Pinehurst isn't too far away!

Sanford is a very nice area. I do not live that far away from Sanford and I do alot of ls work, especially now being retired I have nothing but time on my hand.
