Default ts|s Detailing: Date with an Exotic Model

This is a 300 mile young Ferarri 458 Italia. The owner was going to put her away for the winter and wanted the vehicle cleaned up before doing so. No polishing work performed, but the leather was conditioned with Adams Leather Conditioner, paint washed and clayed then waxed with Blackfire Midnight Sun carnuba. Pics of me from a tripod/timed shutter.

Beautiful car....I'd be scared to go near it though let alone detail it.

The owner backed it out of the garage and went to work in his AMG mercedes. I had to pull it in.......that was the most chaotic, stressful 10ft I've ever driven a car. The interface is NOTHING like a normal car. All button-push this and paddle shift that. No console shifter, no clutch.

lol you mean you didnt put a metal key in and turn it?.... every car is becoming a button start now, and the higher end one are losing the shifter knobs as well and moving to buttons there. I am so happy the g8 has a key turn and not a button.

Great job and photos Jaison, I'm guessing this must be an Indian Hill resident, because I don't see those in my neck of the woods

You need to give Adams rights to the 1st photo in your series in exchange for some product

It did have a key, actually. The key turns the system on but the button cranks it. then you have to find the button to remove the e-brake. Then i had to find the reverse button...yes button. Then used the paddle shifter to engage first. All while the car was dinging and blaring and reving....it was just NOT an easy 10 feet to drive!

Blue Ash, as a matter of fact. VERY upscale neighborhood. His daily driver was an AMG mercedes, which also looked new. Plus his wife mentioned she liked his last Ferrari more b/c she doesn't like yellow.

Sweet ride but I would be very nervous to move if something goes wrong I don't have the cheese to fix that type of car. Great pics though thanks for sharing.

great pics. I bet that did not really feel like work to detail something like that. A yellow Ferrari,I thought they were all RED
