I just bought the DBs for all 4 doors. I only have the rears installed so far. Took a friend and I about 30 minutes. They were the slims but I don't think you would have any problems with the normal ones.
Got them from Amazon. 6.5", coaxial in the back, component up front.
Good idea to replace all 4. found them 52 for two online. Could I just get 4 polk db651 6.5 inch slims for all 4 doors

I just installed a set of JBL GTO628 speakers. They are 2 ohm speakers (same as factory) and sound great. I have no aftermarket amps, but can now turn the music up as loud as I'd like regardless of my settings without worrying about tearing a speaker. The rear doors will require some modification to fit the speakers. The plastic mount will need to be trimmed back to fit the speaker, but otherwise they work great.Originally Posted by AVIDMOTION
I first had the polks like most but after a year they crapped out-ive read many others with the same issue. I reccommend the infinity 6.5 instead-much higher sensitivity rating,better clarity,bass and they have been in my doors for 6 years now and sound the same as the first day

I got the polks. No problems on install. Should have done this when I bought my car. Transformed my sound with no other modifications to the stock set up. I hear things I never noticed before. Can crank it to max no breaking up. Made the rear speakers so much more bassy, really kicks now. Drivers side back seat speaker was ruined from wetness, must have left window cracked a few times. Was all corrosion on wire ends etc. Polks are weather proof so should not have that problem any more, hopefully. Very happy, if they last....
