I'm close to slapping on my CTS-V rims on the G8 and noticed an unusual (to me) hollow area on the back of the rim adjacent to the lugnut.
Is there supposed to be a washer there? These are made in June 2013.

Other applications the wheel fits... The lugs on some might have a raised lip near the hub.
No washer needed for our cars.
There tight on the hub lip. Use a little anti seize on the hub. It will prevent the wheels from getting stuck or hard to get off.

The wheel is fine. Nothing to be concerned about. It is factory.
