Default CTS-V / Vaporworx Controller install

Here are some pictures from my install to help others. I would have written a DIY but i'm not good with words

    Lonnies pump removed

    CTS-V pump installed

Vaporworx controller mounted on top of the subwoofer amplifier bracket

V pump plumbed into the stock system with a single braided line

G8 metal fuel feed line will need to be straightened slightly

Harness routing to the battery and control module

    Greg,

    Thanks for the photos.

Now that you have a chance to install the kit and drive the car, what else does the kit need, not need, performance expectations, etc. Without feedback it's hard to make the kits better.

I don't think the kit needs much. I had plenty of wire, misc bolts and connectors. It was easy for me because I have done some wiring in the past on cars and my mother worked for Delphi so I had some cimp tools in my tool box to get everything the way I wanted

Maybe include a few zip ties. I picked up a bag from Harbor Freight cheap so it wasn't an issue.

The real feed back will come from the other guys getting ready to do the installs soon. That way I will know everything was included

I can tell you I love just being able to hit the key and have the car start instead of having to remember to give it a few seconds to prime, and now I can also put my spare wheel into the trunk instead of the FPR.

The performance testing won't come until the roads get warmer and my stock size tires can handle the +200 over stock horsepower.

So far so good Carl A+

I'm the same as Greg... I don't feel like explaining everything, but here is a couple more pictures of the PWM CTS-V fuel system that might help you out...

Make sure you disconnect your battery and drain all the pressure out of your fuel system...

Make sure your fuel tank is below 1/2 or you will have a mess!!!
    CIMG0822.JPG
This is the G8 fuel level sensor hooked into the CTS-V pump it will just snap right in, but you will need to bend the rod down a little bit to get the tank to read correctly... My was only off by about a 1/8th. You will also have to use the terminal ends that Carl provides you in the kit to get the wires to hold in the connector that plugs into the bottom of the pump.

Here is the CTS-V pump and PWM kit all hooked up.

Look at post 169 for more help with hooking up the PWM Controller.

Did you get a chance to fire up the system?
