I am swapping a 2009 L76/6L80E drivetrain into my 1987 El Camino. I want to retain as much of the original functions that I can. There are a few that interface with the ECM/TCM and BCM. I only need about 4 or 5 functions from the BCM. I have 2 questions: 1) Can the BCM be programmed to block out fails from disconnected items, or 2) can it be fooled to think they are there?

I have removed the DOD and slapped in a LS3 cam with all associated parts. I will also run pre and post cat O2 sensors.
