    Could someone post a picture of the rear brake system for 2008 G8 GT please.

    Super thanks so the parking brake assembly is kind of separate from the rotor.

    Great minds must think alike I'm doing a set of rotors and pads on mine also.

    Yeah, the parking brake just uses the inner hub of the rotor as a brake drum. Those pictures are actually from a year ago when I upgraded my brakes.

    Bad cv joint closest to the diff right rear. Is the axle nut a 36 mm? I guess you drop the 2 lower control arms? Do you yank the axle out of the diff, ie is the joint have a slip ring. Is it hard to find a rear axle. Thank you very much.

    Yup just pull it out. I found it easy to remove the entire spindle and pull the axle out with it. Pop the inner axle stub out of the diff then remove the control arms from the spindle. An impact will take the outter axle nut off without problem.

    What is the torque spec for the axle nut?
