Has anyone tried the Lingenfelter ZL1 intercooler tank? Or does anyone know how close the G8 inner fender is to the Camaro?
I tried to make it work... but it wasn't a great fit. It doesn't quite fit over the stud it is supposed to mount on and the bottom kicks out towards the header. The outlet fitting (supplied plastic) is just an inch or so away from the exhaust. Other's have made it work but it just wasn't a clean install and foreseen future issues with it. Roto-Fab (the maker of the tank) had issues with the lid sealing... supposedly they fixed it but people still reported it leaking. It just sits in a bad spot to pick up a lot of heat.
