I pretty much just drove it like normal. I don't think you're going to hurt anything going over 3k. I think they just don't want you to put it through the stress of a WOT launch until 150 miles. In the end my will power gave out and I only made it to about 135 miles.

Dave Moore didn't know if I would make 150miles either. I think I can do it though. For simple fact that I've dumped so much into motor now and don't want to double up on repair work due to a moment of weakness or a ricer baiting me before the clutch plates are ready to go....
