Hopefully someone will find the solution eventually if enough of us keep asking about it. if there is a positive side to all this, the old remote seems to work better now than it did before. there's not really any bugs...just need the right dealer to work on your car. Borcherding Pontiac in the Kings Automall installed mine without an issue. I'd recommend seeing if your dealer can call Borcherding for tips/advice. They may be able to help.

My dealer is going to replace the remote receiver. They are on order. They said they use parts warranty. We will see how it goes.....

They replaced the receiver and it still did not fix the issue, so I am going in tomorrow and put it back to original. And will talk to GM and get all my money back.
