Damn it now looks like I may not make it to the Darlington shootout. I went to MIR Friday and it was not I thought a good day.
After working late Thursday night prepping the car many many stupid little things and even I snapped 3 drag studs I finely got the car done then a trailer ramp collapsed as I was going up smashing the lower bumper O well no show car this year 1am car loaded and strapped down.
Overslept left the house at 9am then had a trailer tire blow out on our beltway I495 no spare My buddy Kevin was 15 min. behind me. Took Sher to Mr tire got a new tire on and boom at the track now it 12:30
The first 2 pases were in the 12.2../12.1...
This sucks I did better stock LOL
After I got my grove I did 9 passes all of them at 11.80 to 11.84 with a I think sucky 170-1.90. 60' and 117-119 trap speed
The trans is done for track days 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 4th I would shift at 6000 it would rev to 7000 then slam into gear feeling like old school neutral drops
I felt shitty and disappointed
But after talking with MGM GT, Drugs & G8Greg they think my time were great especially with the issues I have with the trans so thanks guys it means alot to me for the support
Now it's time to get the rear rebuilt with 3.72 Put in the th400 with the 1 piece driveshaft
Hope I can get it done by April 20th
