Took our young IT guy at work last night for a little blast in the G8. He drives a turbo Eclipse. I think he had to clean his shorts. Said he's never been in anything this powerful. He also said, "man, this is all you need, why go any faster or add more power to this!" Because race car, that's why. LOL. Because it's addicting!!!

They're actually the V6 handles, which are already color matched. That's cool that you paint for a living!

I bought a propane torch and used it to adjust the hangers on the passenger-side Magnaflow muffler to better line it up. It's still not perfect, and the exhaust pipe is STILL too close to the rear rubber driveshaft-to-diff coupling. I'm not sure why or how to fix that. I've got an appointment with an exhaust shop for adjustments and J-pipe installation on Tuesday, so hopefully I can get it taken care of then.

You really need a set of stock mufflers to correct an exhaust system that doesn't hang quite right. If you adjust it for an axle back that isn't quite right, you'll go through the same process if you change axle backs. I have a muffler jig the hold the tips and the flange at the correct angle.
Any time my ARH is taken off it's lined back up using the stock mufflers.
    Rest in Peace Charlie!

NOW I catch your meaning. The exhaust itself should be adjusted for stock placement, and any tip misalignment should be corrected at the new mufflers only. So the stock axlebacks allow for the stock placement. Sorry, I know that likely seems obvious, but this is the first exhaust I've ever installed. I'll do just that, then. Now that I've got the torch, I should be able to do more adjusting with the Magnaflows.

Performed the Peterg20000 lower panel modification. Opened up the fog light grilles on both sides.
They're off to the painter for a body color match. Just leaving the honeycomb area black.
