I got my car TUNED! Pulls much stronger to redline now and doesn't roll over like it did. Popping on decel is reduced, and skip shift is fully disabled. W00t! Now I just need a dyno!

Just drove it around to burn down the fuel in the tank. Dropping the car off Monday for my dod-delete Patrick G cam, Lonnies fuel system and rear Brembo with DBA slotted rotors all around.

Drove it! MAN, I love these headers. Spent some time last night trying to adjust the muffler position, since they were WAY off. They're still not perfect, but I'm not sure how much better I'll be able to get them. One of the ARH rear pipes is actually contacting a bracket at the back of the car and making noise at low RPM. But moving it away from that bracket would push the muffler toward the outer edge of the bumper, which would make the muffler positioning look deformed. Not sure what to do... Oi.

I also picked up a cheap propane heater for the garage this weekend. That way I can work as it gets colder.

Took a friend for a drive today after the car had been sitting for a bit. Got it up to 90, tried to take a gentle turn, and the front end started shaking like it was possessed even when I got off the brakes. These Continental tires have started flat-spotting like CRAZY in their old age, even though I'm running them 36 psi cold up front. Alternatively, I've destroyed a bushing or two in the Spohn arms. Unlikely, but they're creaking and I want to swap the Superlube grease for Redline moly anyway, so I now have two reasons to pull them off the car. I gotta say, though, the Conti DWS's grip, but they have otherwise been nothing but a pain.

EDIT: Also rolled it over 40,000 miles. It's now at 40,016. Happy 40,000 to the best car GM has ever had the gall to kill off.
