Installed my upgraded Holden leather/sliding center console lid...SUCH an improvement, it's hard to fathom. I always hated not only how rubbery the stock lid felt but how junky-wiggly it was in general, and this solved all of that and more. Closes with a muted thud, it's taller and firmer so it's actually useful to my arm and comfy, slides forward to hide the cupholders & anything I might put in them or back, etc., etc. The best little mod I've done in a while.

Tonight finally decided to check the air in my full size 19" spare and while in there, somehow not until now, discovered the little trunk lid hook to hold the trunk floor up...I've wondered for 5 months and never figured out that's what it was for until now. Good news, regardless, for when I'm digging in there.

Added a HSRK and ordered Holden Engine Covers from Paul.

Did you get the console lid from JHP?

You have a pic? I had to go look at ours, It has one green light and next to the emergency button there is another light but it's not lit up.

How much of the center console did you have to disassemble to install the console lid?

I've been working on the wife for a mod budget for a while now and today pulled the trigger on my biggest run ever. I think I spent more on mods today than mods on my last 3 cars combined.

    - From JHP, the console lid above, their red/black steering wheel, and red/black shifter.
    - CCW SP500s. 19x9 w 245/40 Nitto Invos in front, 19x10 w 275/35 Nitto Invos in back
    - From Livernois, 3.27 rear end, Kooks 1 3/4 headers, catted X pipe, UDP, tune

I still have about 800 left to spend, so I'm going to do the GXP front end conversion and rear difusor.

I ordered front and rear arrowhead reflective black overlays from Reflective Concepts. They arrived today and I applied them perfectly in less than five minutes.

I'm impatiently waiting for Sept. 4th when I drop my car off at TJ Wong's to get the car cammed along with American Racing Headers installed as well as a custom tune by the man himself! Bunch of smaller stuff being installed too, it's all in the list below!

Installed a NACA duct in the large, flat plastic skid plate behind the front bumper right underneath the air intake, which has effectively transformed the enclosed box that the cone filter sits in into a ventilated space. Duct exits probably 1" from the end of the cone. No pics as I'm on a work computer (internet not yet hooked up at home).

Wife took it to the strip today and agreed that it made a difference in keeping the engine happy - hotlapping at 87F outside and ET kept reducing (hit the wall at 13.3). Throttle response seems a bit better.

Today I returned it back to the stock tune so I can take it to the dealer for the recalls either tomorrow or tuesday, what fun. I hate driving it with the stock tune lol
