This is going to be embarrassing if I'm doing something wrong but am I missing something here? I cannot for the life of me get the passenger side cover to fit correctly. Heater hoses are relocated and the intake cover is removed. Driver side snapped on just fine. This sucker just won't go down though. I finally realized the oil dipstick is what looks to be blocking me. Was that supposed to be moved?
Couple picks. Tried to get how far this is off. It's lined up perfectly with those studs on the valve cover and the oil cap.

See in your last pic how there's a cut-out groove for the dipstick tube.
Your tube is coming up about an inch further forward than the groove.
You can extend the groove in the cover with a file....or bend the bracket holding the tube to the head.

I had the same issue on mine. I just bent the bracket. Once you get it on, see if the hoses are sitting on the engine cover. Mine were and over time the hoses on the cover wore off the silver paint either from rubbing or just the heat.
