Got car back from bodyshop (Wed actually) and no more crunched RF fender and scraped up rear bumper cover.
I had the fender replaced w/ a genuine GM part after a little hassle w/USAA. They finally agreed to pay for a GM part but I shouldn't have had to ask.
BTW, the surface on the crunched fender underneath the paint that broke off didn't rust at all. They don't make 'em like they used to, they 'em better.

I Waterless Washed her then gave her a coat of Adam's Brilliant Glaze. I also went over 20,000 miles today, that only took 27 months.

New lifetime rotors and lifetime pads... Went well tonight, except old rotors needed to be hit with their fair share of heat to be persuaded to dismount.... Was an easy brake job.

Just got back.from hotlapping, errr, bedding in the new brakes...

Picked her up from the dealership Thursday. She now has completely new front control arm kits, strut mounts, and a steering wheel. All she needs now is a balanced drive shaft and rear strut mounts and I'll be a happier man.

Zepcom where did you get the rotors and pads? I had mine installed yesterday and feel much better than stock. I got mine from brakeperformance.com.

Well I washed and detailed the Black Rat today. Put on a coat of Americana, Brilliant Glaze/Americana which was still on the pad and then put a coat of Super Wax on the hood, Roof and trunk. Put some Brilliant Glaze on the rims and looks sweet. Here's some pics.

On thop of doing this I helped my son wash the Colorado and we put a coat of Buttery Wax on it and some VRT on the black plastic. It sure came out nice also.

    Now having some Bud Lights.
