I'm getting ready to install the CTSv pump into my G8, (will order tomorrow) but i'm wondering if you guys did your back seat pump cut-out access hole with the tank removed, or just followed what seems to be an outline...??
I'll be running the 2300 maggie with ls9 injectors. Also have the livernoise cam and LS# head package.....any suggestions would be help full...thanks

Also, long shot, but does anybody have a canned tune I could use..I have HP tuners, but never really learned how to tune myself....just need a tune (or advice) how to get the ls9 injectors to fire with the new ctsv pump...just enough for me to get to my tuner....

Follow the outline above the fuel pump, once you start the cuts above that area you'll see that its gonna be a little different based on application. There is an indent that is pretty easy to follow. Remember to take your time and error on the "small size"

There are also wires and fuel line underneath, so cut slowly and keep an eye on it. It is not a hard job, just not one to rush, like most.

You might need larger injectors with your setup. Just a heads up.

Ok, hole cut, pump installed and I'm getting ready to install wiring ....which is the toughest part if you ask me. Question, on the vapor worxs controller, the bat+ is the fuse, (batt to + side of controller via the fuse link) and the neg is right to ground? But how is the pump wired....it got late and I got tired, hopefully i will figure it out tomorrow .... I'll post pics

ZiM... Look at the thread Fuel system... ZL1 Pump and look at page 17. It explains how to hook it up a little bit in post 169. I'll have to draw up another diagram and I'll send it to you.

Here is a little wiring diagram I drew up when I was doing the install... I haven't had the time to draw up a good one yet. Let me know if you still have any questions about the wiring.
