You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong. You cannot help the wage earner by pulling down the wage payer. You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich. You cannot help men permanently by doing for them what they could and should do for themselves.

A 413 can be done fairly easy also. For the long term Jay the short block is not going to take the power you want. At least build a forged short block get the heads done. With a converter you will be close to the blower cars.

Yeah, my brothers car is a 408 forged motor and it puts down 502 rwhp through a Yank converter. In a manual car it would probably closer to 530 rwhp.

I gotta figure out something to do to it paintwise. The cost of the motorwork will squash the holden conversion. And with two other IOMs in my area, one a V6, I need to stand apart, besides them just staying in my rear-view mirror (Jeff )

There is nothing meaner than a nicely built 408. Well maybe a 427 or a LSX454 but you know what I mean. I had a friend with a C5 that had a 408 with AFR 225's and that thing was MEAN! It would eat up cars on the street.
So in short, build Tigger a motor. It will make him very happy.

Paint tiger stripes on it. If they were flat black I think it might look cool if it was a quality job. If you got the horsepower to back it up you can do what ever you want to your car.
