22k is a fair price IMO if they fix the little issues you found. I got my 09 GT w/ sunroof, cloth interior, 18" wheels and 24,000 miles for $22,500 (They were asking $24,500). If they seem like douches I would go somewhere else, although you never have to see them ever again if you buy the car. I would probably buy it anyways, I couldn't help but buy the first G8 I looked at LOL.

Do a Carfax and make sure it has not been wrecked since the door does not open properly. May be something simple, but I would rather know.

The door sticking could be the upper part of the door getting stuck behind the weatherstrip on the rear door. The area between the windows. Just needs a tweak to fix if that is the issue. Or could be the door latch. Sometimes the seat belt can get caught in the latch when closing the door and mess up the plastic coating on the latch and cause it to stick.
I have a GXP with 28,000 miles on it for the same price. Just so you know your options

Yeah, keep your powder dry and hang out on here. There are some VERY CLEAN original owner G8's that are alerted as up for sale on this forum each month. Bide your time and one will come along in a week or two. You'll be glad you waited. 42,000 G8's out there, and only a thousand or two of us on here. We took care of our G8's. Most of us are pretty anal about that. Not sure about those other daily floggers out there. Buy one of our one-owner "G8 was one of my kids" examples when it comes available and your purpose will be well served. And take a good look at that GXP discussed above. Provided it checks out and is clean that would be a good deal. If I was just now buying into the G8 experience, I'd wait for a GXP to come along. And this would be the place I'd be lurking to buy one. Patience is a virtue.

Research its value, put it on the net and stand your ground...it's a Honda. You bought it 'cause it would keep its value. Why give that up to anyone?

Passenger door probably sticks due to the 'cup' holder in door card being used. Clean the inside pocket of door card, then the seals and good as new.
