Yeah, I'll figure something out this weekend to keep the paint safe, maybe some weather stripping around the edges.

Don't have a Dashhawk yet (waiting for sale or used piece), so I'm not sure on specs.

I'm thinking of wraping the intake with header wrap to try and keep it cooler. Not sure if it will make that much difference, but I think it may help keep the intake a bit cooler. Heat soak sucks

Form other posts, here and on other boards, the conventional wisdom is that heatsoak doesn't affect the air going through the intake tube. The velocity is such that the air doesn't have time to heat up from the heat stored in the plastic/metal.

GeorgeInNePa mentioned this last week I think, and when I loged on to purchase, they were showing full price

There was a coupon code for DashHawks. PM Vector, call them, or email through their site. I paid $250 and I think they might have been cheaper since then.

It's worth the money.

I've already replaced it with a larger cone with out the HSRK for winter time. I'm cleaning the other one and will use it for summer time.

Shawn, Is that plug going into the silicone around the filter for the HSRK? I haven't seen one installed before.
