Mines not (note avatar). Brings them home to play with! I have the same issue but with my own cats. They love to lay on the cars but usually the wife's. Mine is covered. I have caught them on it and when that occurs I remote start it or hit the alarm. They will jump off. Just a warning though, if you startle them too much they will accelerate their departure and use the claws! Cats are won't stay in (on) one place for too long. They get bored with it and will move on. If you stay on top of scaring them they will learn not to get on the car. FYI.

I'm pretty sure if it's big enough the cat won't lay next to it.

Don't use any liquid it will leave water spots and you will have to clean them off. BB, pellet and .22 caliber are risky as you might put a hole in your glass or worse. Snake might ne good, Florida is being overrun with Boa Constrictors and pythons, someone there could ship you one. All depends on how well you get along with your neighbor. Present him with a bill for buffing out the sratches. They will either get rid of the cat or hopefully move. Personally, I like the python idea. It gets rid of the cat and then you have some fine snake skin to make into some interesting items.

This is why in my 1st post I said find it before it gets to the car. No damage to the car from the .22 if its in the yard! But I do like the idea of giving the neighbor the bill for detailing seriously.

Just a warning. I am a cat lover, BUT they dont get on my cars and I have 4 cats. I dont know why. I will say if you have ever scared the shit out of a cat, you know the claws come out 1st and then they can scratch right through the clearcoat.

There are things you can plug in that emit a frequency that keeps animals away. Google it.

I hate stray animals. If you can't "take care of it" yourself-if you get my drift- have someone else get rid of the damn thing! I am having the same problem with one of my pot-head neighbors and if she doesn't keep that patchouli smelling thing inside it's going to disappear.

An airsoft gun will do the trick. Just try not to hit it in the face as that's kinda mean unless you are that type of person.

Airsoft gun will hurt the cat enough to make it weary of that place. You may have to do it twice. Airsoft guns also have a low chance of messing your paint up but that cat will most likely scratch your paint.
