That's usually how it goes. I have learned to listen closely when a older quite humble man speaks. And not at all when a loud "one upper" talks.
The best people I know are all very humble.

RIP!
Fuck cancer, I just lost my aunt Saturday to it.
So sorry to hear this brother!
I watched my mom battle cancer on and off for 20 years ..the last 2 were the worse I witnessed she passed in 2004. That was the hardest thing for me to handle and I was 35 ..another was my father dying when I was 14 ..20 years prior.

I have two that my dermatologist wants to test on the back of my neck. Of course its where the sun hits all the time. My wife and barber noticed them the last few years.
Thx. I do my best to spread the word. Most people think melanoma is never serious. A coworker once made this statement. "Roy sure is milking his spot removal. He's been out for a month." If he only realized the pain I was in.
My spot was less than half the size of an eraser on a #2 pencil. One day I bent over my mom said, That spot doesn't look good. I really couldn't see it because it was on the top of my head towards the back. My mom probably saved my life.
My head still looks like crap (4" crater) but it's cancer free. My left thigh & stomach have scars because that's where the Drs took the skin from to replace the skin on my head twice.
I have pics. They aren't pretty. I could post a couple if warranted. Maybe they could make someone realize they need to see a doctor.
Take care of yourself. Life is too short. One day you're here & the next .… well you get the picture.
