Can with a female thread in the base, threaded hose elbow, length of fuel hose, hose to petcock fitting on the end.
You can't even see the hose when its tucked away horizontally, when its time to drain you just pull the hose out and drop it vertically to within 8" of the ground. Reach under the front bumper and open the petcock to drain into a container.

Takes less than a minute all up.
Never needed any tools yet and never made a mess in the past 4 years doing it like that.
No, i'm not kidding. That reminds me of a catheter bag, with a drain at the bottom of the leg. It's unnesesary to have a long hose running from the bottom of your catch can to under your bumper, when it's so easy to have a can that takes a few seconds to unscrew and dump. Plus having a long hose full of oil just doesn't seem like a good idea to me, I dunno. What I meant by making a mess, is the AMW catch can with it's pet cock right under the can. Never really thought about a hose running from the can tho.

oh and there is no bending over under your car either.

Moroso cans have a petcock on the bottom ,had them for years ,so the idea isn't terrible racers have been using them a long time, unscrewing a can that has a lot of oil in it could be quite a mess , but to each his own.

There is a lot of room in there, and it's so simple to remove and pour out, that there is no reason for it to get that full in the first place. A product having something for years doesn't make the idea any better .

After I pull off the piece with the two white tabs on the front of the engine
    http://i266.photobucket.com/albums/i...r/DSC_0145.jpg

Do I slide the 3/8 hose over the tab on the plastic nipple or is up against it ok ?? Since the nipple is plastic I didn't want to force the rubber hose over the tab and break the nipple.

I went up against it then clamped. Check for leaks afterwards with injector cleaner spray (spray all connections with engine idling, you'll hear the sound change if there's a leak).

If you can get it over the little plastic tab, then go ahead, but my kit was SUPPOSED to have the clamp for that one hose... That's what I get for trying to get them out in a hurry. Just go ahead and put it as far as you can, then put the hose clamp over that.
